What languages are supported?
Business card is not recognized
Make sure your BlackBerry has a camera with AutoFocus (Torch 9800, Storm 9500/9530, Storm 2 9520/9550, Bold 9700, Curve 8900 or Tour 9630).
Here are some tips to get the best recognition quality.
- 1. Put the business card on a flat surface.
- 2. Good lighting is a key factor: at least a bright desk lamp or direct sunlight on a sunny day is necessary.
- 3. Turn off flash in Camera Options to reduce possible glare. You might also want to enable Black&White mode to speed up recognition.
- 4. Hold the BlackBerry right above the card. Keep the card aligned with viewfinder edges, and move the phone up or down until the card fits the screen size.
- 5. Hold BlackBerry firmly and take the picture.
Recognition takes too much time.
Use WiFi connection when possible. Set the camera to Black&White mode, Image Quality to Fine. You can also try to reduce camera resolution.
What languages are supported?
Currently the application recognizes English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Korean business cards.
