Pricing

Postby inoxdragoon » Fri Jun 17, 2011 7:29 pm

I was wondering if you have pricing avail for the WP7 version. I know you cant tell us when its coming out, but it'd be nice how much it's going to cost.

Also, are you going to need external beta testers for the next version(s)? I would be happy to help in that regard.

Me too, and if you are going to localize IM+ in German, I could also check this.

Why is this app so expensive on WP when there's a free version on Android?
Even then I could understand up to around $5 but $10?!
From the looks of it it will be/is awesome, but I'm finding it very difficult to justify spending that much on an IM app.

yea these desgraciados are trying to rip off us wp7 users by charging more for this than the other platforms AND with no trial or basic version like the others. it is also not fair because an update in the fall will bake in some of this functionality which will further invalidate it. so unless a trial or basic version is added or a price drop I'll advise everyone not to buy this program!!

unfair pricing

Postby eric12341 » Tue Jun 21, 2011 10:39 am

just as the thread title says I feel that the pricing for this program is unreasonable and unfair to us wp7 users because

1) the Android and iOS versions are half price
2) there is no trial or basic version like on other platforms.
3) mango update in the fall will integrate some IM which will negate the need for this app.

seems that $hape$ervices is trying to extort money from the wp7 community. don't fall for their scheme and don't buy until pricing is made more fair.

Applications offered for Android (and especially iOS) and Windows Phone applications are in different price ranges.
Application price is determined by manufacturing cost, market place, competition, market condition and features of the application.
