Feature requests and suggestions

I am a very avid gamer, and now that I'm into PC gaming, if there was a way to have my Steam friend's list on IM+ and be able to message them through the app, that would be amazing. This is my most wanted feature seeing as there is no app that has this capability. Another thing I'd like is to be able to change my avatar for Skype through the app however that might be a Skype restriction, I'm assuming, since it hasn't been implemented for a while.

i think dialog/text box could be better implemented. I think you should make the Emoji box optional because i think everyone with an ipod/iphone has that feature enabled in their keyboard so having a sperate button is redundant and takes up space.

I also think the smilies could be an optional button as well and in its place you could make camera button to add a pic from the gallary or take a new one.

I dont think we need to have a "restoring" message everytime you open the app followed by the top bar animation. That could speed the initial restore connection quicker.

I would place a feature request of the past again...

Pls. adding OTR to IM+. This would be a great argument to buy IM+, because the other ones didn't have it.

I think you need to consider the following additions to not only the iPad version, but also android and iPhone, etc

1) Adding more color theme options rahter than just black or white
2) Adding video chat
3) SMS/MMS messaging


As an example.. please take note Yahoo just updated their client now to be iPad 2 worthy. Very nicely done and it is free. It also has free SMS. it only has 2 services though, Yahoo and MSN

Hi, it would very useful if metacontact features is implemented as well as extended per-account status system. I think that these are the only features IM+ is missing for the moment.

Thanks for continuous improvement on IM+. We are using IM+ Lite in iPad mainly to IM on WebEx Connect. When we try to kick a WebEx meeting from a host, an invitation message and URL link is shown on IM+. We can join the meeting from the URL link normaly on PC or on another 3rd party IM application. But it doesn't work on IM+. Because we think that the URL on IM+ doesn't redirect to WebEx dedicated application for iPad but it goes to internet browser. We'd like to find the cause of this and would like to have it improved to link to WebEx meeting application.

This is LONG overdue and keeps me from enjoying IM+ properly. Otherwise a top notch product.

META CONTACTS

Currently in the Contacts tab we have all our contacts listed per the services we have activated. And if our contacts have more than one of those type services, they are listed as many times as they have differnet services.

So if I have a contact named Joe Smith ... if he has Skype he is listed, if he has Yahoo he is listed, if he has MSN/WL he is listed again and again, etc.

Can it be made so that we can show the Contact once and all the services a particular Contact has can be merged into one panel to be shown. Then you have Joe Smith shown in the contacts list, and on the right hand side it will show the Service icon for those they are subscribed to. Or maybe a down error to expand the contacts name to show all the accounts

This would help eliminate a very long list of contacts and consolidate them.

This is needed in all platforms

I would like the option to switch the send key and the emoji key. I often mistakenly hit send when trying to backspace to change an autocorrect! Lol

Auto-away. Right now, I just have myself set for perma-away but people know generally when I'll respond.

I agree with those two, especially the first one. It would be great if it's also integrated with Facebook, which is to auto-set the status as "Idle" just like the regular Facebook when you're not interacting with it once 10 minutes has passed.
