Emoji does not work properly!

I have the lastest version of IM+ for iPhone 3GS. The emoji built in the app is a wonderful touch. The only thing is it DOES NOT WORK properly. I IM to other iPhone users. One perticular has IM+ as well. We use the app very often. Everyday to be exact. Niether of is can see the emoji pics in the chat. It shows a blank space where the emoji is suppose to be. Thanks for your help.

Please make sure that "Show emoticons" option is enabled under IM+ More / Settings / View
