Message font changed into a lighter font, harder to read

I used to have no problem with reading or writing my messages because they used to be in a readable font. A week ago, the font just suddenly changed into something that's not as bold and more difficult to read. I couldn't see my periods and commas. I did not change any fonts, I wouldn't know how, now that I want to change them back to where they were when i first installed the application. There seems to be no option to change message fonts. I am not sure what font the messages window has changed into, but originally, they were similar to the contacts list font. Please help since it's proving to be very irritating to have a hard time reading and writing my messages. Thanks so much!

What are the font settings in other applications?
What is your mobile device? What IM+ version do you use?
When exactly did the issue start - what actions or updates have you performed?

My device is an HTC Touch Pro 2, Windows Mobile 6.5. My IM+ for Pocket PC version is 7.7.1. I am not sure about the font settings on other applications but text messaging, email, browser and all the other applications have fonts that are readable.

IM+ is the only application that has this hard to read font. It's so light that it's looks gray rather than black like all other fonts. If it could only be made bolder, it wouldn't be a problem.

I haven't done any updates since installing IM+ about a month and a half ago. The problem started a week ago. I just opened IM+ and the font was changed without me doing anything.

Please uninstall the application completely from your device.

Then reinstall it over-the-air:

I tried uninstalling the application (in Windows Mobile 6.5, the "Remove Programs" option under All Settings, System) many times already. As to whether that procedure uninstalls the application "completely" as you instructed, I don't think it does because I should have been prompted to either Register or Use Trial, which I was when I first installed the application. Somehow some settings are still being retained and detected even after an uninstallation. After uninstalling and reinstalling, the messages font still is the same hard-to-read font, not the font that I had when I first installed the program. I am pretty sure that wiping all data on my device (return to factory settings) will remove IM+ completely from my device but that is not something I would want to do since it will also wipe all my other applications that I have worked on and devoted many hours to tweak.

I hope you find other solutions to my problem since this application is one of those that are indispensable to me. Thank you again for your reply.

Generally speaking IM+ doesn't change font colour, only size, so it is rather unusual issue.
Please check what message size you have under
Settings/Messages/Message font size

Can you please send us the screen shot illustrating the situation?

Please also specify:
- does the contact list have a regular readable font?
- what message size you have under Settings/Messages/Message font size?

Here is a screenshot of the Contacts List. Font is very readable, as it was when first installed. Only the message font has changed. Message font size is 3.
