I'm finding that when inside an active chat window I'm not getting a notification of incoming messages in Jabber (I haven't tried another service yet, but I suspect it is the same)

If I go back to the contacts screen I get the notification of new incoming messages, but not inside the chat window.

This is quite an issue because:
1) the messages don't always scroll up when new one arrive, and the keypad may cover new messages
2) if you set the phone down and do something else - you will never know if the person you're chatting with has sent a new message.

The only way I can see to get the notifications is to go back to the contacts list after each message I send... not practical.

Is there something I'm missing, or is it my device (Droid Eris).

Hello again.
Just my point of view:
1) Main windows - Accounts.
Right now it's showing all the accounts, that been set up.
Pressing the account name shows - "Connect - Edit - Remove" dialog.
It should be more easy to use the program if Long tap would show this dialog. Short tap should open contact list for this account.
This way there will be no need to press menu button for contacts.

2) Back hardware button behavior.
This issue related to Back hardware button (BHB) behavior, when you answering a message, through top bar notification.
Right now, after answering to a message, pressing BHB takes you back to the last screen you were on, before receiving a message (Not necessarily to IM+). May be it could be set up in Options, to give a user a choice - Go back to last used window, or - go back to the contact list for this account.

Can you please set up a notification to let us know when the connection to the server is lost?

audible, or at least in the notification status bar.

What would be very nice is to change the icon in the status bar - say with a red circle and line through the IM+ icon.

This is very important when we are thinking we are connected to our work server and find out several hours later that we have not been..

This is an awesome app. I had it on my iPhone and now I have it on my Android Hero. But it sure would be nice to be able to change the font, even if it meant downloading additional font packs for it.

P.S. I agree that it would also be nice if the app gave notification of new messages while the app is still open (rather than having to be out of the app to get notification).

I used this feature quite a lot on the iPhone (Push notification when contact signs in), any chance of seeing it in the Android version as well ?

Right now, when Authorization request comes in, there no option to view number details. Which is greatly inconvenient. Show contact details should be added to "Yes" and "No" choices. Or option in preferences - block Authorization requests. Most of the time it's just spam.

How long should we wait to add C&P in Android version of IM+ ?
I've got also iPhone and your App is good, but here in Android OS it's something middle!!! Please add Copy&Paste to better work with your apps. Thank you.

Can you please sort the groups by their names? I have no idea what it's currently being sorted on but it would be nice if they were sorted by alpha like in the regular Yahoo client.
