HelloI have a small suggestion about IM +,

I have friends in China and many Chinese uses the qq.com as Instant Messaging.
This is really a problem to find a software that uses this Protocol.

I think that it would be interesting to develop the Protocol,
many person now works with the Chinese,
and in China it's really very very used.QQ.com exists
for Tablet but Chinese-language only.

This is for windows in other language but not for the tablet.

If you could add this Protocol this would even more interesting IM +.

Thank you very much.

Great new dark theme, but...

But could letters be white? That grey is too low-contrast and when I off my backlight brightness I can't see anything under the sun. With other apps, white over blacks just fine.

Anyway, thanks for the dark theme!!

It would be very nice if we could manage notifications in individual accounts. We can now configure only chats active and inactive, if there was how to manage notifications because it would be perfect.

Sorry my english Google Translator ;)

We are planning to add QQ to the supported services in IM+.

Please specify what exactly notifications you would like to manage.

Ok, installed pro. Here are few thoughts/ideas/suggestions.

1) Definitely need individual notification settings. I mean, I want to have way to disable sound/vibration/especially notif.bar notification for specific contact or chatroom. I'm in several Skype chatrooms where are many people chatting, and it grabs attention constantly while I often need to talk to another single user and that's why I have IM+ turned on. Especially useful when in push mode.

2) Skype mood message is cleared from IM+. Use case - I set mood message text on my laptop, go to my work PC and when I launch Skype it grabs new from server. But if I launch IM+ it clears it instead of getting from server.

3) Push session is lost often in Skype. Too often for paid Pro app.

4) It'd be good (can live without it) to have joined contacts, same people in Facebook, Gtalk, Skype.. Favorites simply overloaded.

PS Your updates and fixes are very quick, thank you for great job!

Will you add a support for GG protocol to IM+? It's the most popular IM in Poland with about 7 Millions of users. Most of polish users of IM+ use this protocol. Adding this protocol will increase an amount of buyers. There is official GG app for Android, but it's oversized, uncomfortable, hard to use.

A few things stand out to me most at the moment:

- In the Accounts screen, why is it necessary to tap on an account, and then choose either Connect or Disconnect? Wouldn't it be much better to have something like a checkbox right there on the Accounts screen, next to each account, to connect/disconnect to each service? Tapping on the account itself should then launch the "more options for this account" window. Much faster and easier solution, and in line with how most ICS-style apps deal with this! (Or at least a faster method to connect/disconnect to each account; perhaps by a "Connected/Offline" button right there on the accounts screen next to each account?)

- Pretty often I notice that IM+ is trying endlessly to (re)connect to a service, but fails to do so.... When I manually disconnect and connect, no issues! Pls look into this! Also I get more (successful) reconnects than i feel are necessary...

- I often find out it's impossible to chat with people who are in "invisible mode", while on the desktop browser this is no problem. This happens for example with facebook & google chat, perhaps others too. Also would like to see better "invisible mode" support for the chat protocols.

- POPUP FEATURE?! Switch between chatting in fullscreen or in window mode!!! (like LilyPad HD, but then much better of course).. would L.O.V.E this

We are going to add GG to the supported services in one of our next IM+ versions.

Your suggestions are forwarded to our developers for consideration.

Please reproduce the situations and then please send the support request from IM+ About / Support (Feedback) from the menu.
We will get the log files and they will help us to investigate the situation more detaily.

ICQ phone contacts

Postby javerin » Sun Jun 24, 2012 7:28 pm

Is it possible to hide phone contacts when ICQ account is added?
I see where is option to make them offline, but it is not so convinient. In ICQ mobile version is option to hide phone contacts and they aren't shown (no offline, no online)
