Unable to connect

I have been trying to connect to IM+ since last night via 3G and WiFi, however IM+ just sits on 'connecting' and never connects. I am able to connect with no issues on my iPhone but not on my iPad.

I am now able to connect to everything except msn, msn still sits on connecting and never connects.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application twice, no change. I have also removed the msn account and readded it several times, no change.

I have also bought the Pro version, and am having the same issue on it.
I have started getting an error after it sits on connecting for a good 45 minutes, stating the 'connection failed' (I have a screen shot I can send).

Since a couple of days none of my MSN accounts can connect.
They hang at "connecting" to then return "connection failed".
It doesn't happen for Skype accounts.
I've tried deleting all accounts, disinstalling IM+, rebooting, reinstalling then adding accounts no success.
I've also installed IM+ free and having same behaviour.
I've submitted support request already.
A very quick resolution is much appreciated, as I have to use alternate SW for the time being.

I'm having the same issue, have uninstalled and reinstalled, upgraded, deleted the account... Same issue. Am able to connect on my iPhone but not on my iPad. Put in support request but so far no response. Started about 2 days ago, was working fine prior.

For completeness of info: the issue happens on iPhone 3GS 32GB iOS4.x while it works fine on Android.

I am having the same issues on the iPad version. MSN contacts just will not load recently. It may have been since the last update, but I am not sure. I had to turn the service off.

Works fine on my android

The severe error and bomb could possibly be related to this as well.

I was having this problem and then I turned off the MSN service. Then everything worked well for me. There is a thread discussing the MSN problem

I am not sure if it I'll be the same for you, but you might try it

Not quite sure what you mean by turning the service off egish. Do you mean on the quick switch bar?

If you go to the icons on the upper right corner of the iPad version there are 5 icons. One of which, the middle one, is the accounts setups. If you have MSN on you can just turn the switch to the off position. This will turn off the MSN service.

At least for me it got rid of the problem. I am sure they are working on this and will let us know when it is fixed with MSN.

It seems to me this is related to the MSN accounts, but I may be wrong.

Ya I tried that. If I turn MSN off I can connect to my other stuff, but still not MSN.
It takes a good hour to get the error message as well.
I've sent in a good 4 error reports and no response yet. Hoping for one soon, as right now I have an app I cant use LOL and I'm not terribly fond of IMO which is what I have been forced to use until this is fixed.

Sorry for the delay in response.

Please try to switch off and then remove your MSN accounts,
restart IM+ and re-add MSN accounts again.

If the issue still persist, please specify: how do other services work for you (Skype, Yahoo! etc.)?
Please reproduce the issue and then send us your IM+ log file selecting "I have another question" option under More / About / Support. Your IM+ log file will be automatically attached to your support request.

Please make sure to post a link to this thread into issue description field
