thanks for your reply, any idea of when is the next update going to be released? are you guys working on the disconnection issue when the playbook is left idle?

There is no timeframe for release yet, sorry.

are you guys working on the disconnection issue when the playbook is left idle?

Please let us know what options you have set in Playbook Settings ->General -> Application Behaviour.
We plan to add Push mode to IM+ Playbook in future to make it possible to stay connected while connection is lost.
Please specify whether any other 3-rd party network-dependent application works in standby mode on your device.

its in showcase mode, because this is the first im software in the playbook theres no other software that i know that works this way, except the browser, i listen to online radio via the browser even after the pb goes stabdby mode.

Hi
I purchased and downloaded the IM App to my Playbook last night and it doesn't work at all.
When I opened it it asked me which icons I wished to select and I selected Skype.
Skype opens to one window - no other windows are available.
The window has contacts on left and a blank sheet on the right. If I tap on a contact name the name opens and I have the options info, x, or keyboard - that's it. I have tapped everything on the screen and nothing allows me to dial of gives me another page.

Also - when I open it it goes straight to that Skype page - I cannot get back to the IM page to select any more options.
I cannot find ant instructions, Help or FAQ.

I appreciate any assistance that anyone can give

you cannot dial with this app.. just chat via skype.. this app doesnt have implemented calls or videochat.

i cant believe that 4 months have passed since i reported the bug when opening the app in portrait mode and it hasnt been fixed.

it just shows how the developer care about the platform.
