IM+ on BB - Skype appears offline

I have installed IM+ on my BB curve 8900. I was able to sign in to my skype account. However, all my contacts appear offline and I appear offline to all my contacts. I signed in on my computer using a different skype and sent myself test messages, which came thorugh without a notification and my status remained offline.

Also there was no option to call a skype contact, I could only send IMs.

Any ideas?

Please remove your Skype account from IM+ and re-add it once again.
If the issue persists, please submit us a new support request selecting "Help" / "Support&About".
Your log file will be attached automatically to your request.
We will investigate your log file and advise further.

IM+ does not support Skype voice and video calls, sorry.
It is intended for text messaging only.
