IM Account Information Disapears WebOS 1.4

don't know if anyone else is having this problem VERY FRUSTRATING!!! But I have to re enter my account information every time I go into IM+ now. There are no error codes generated I exit come back and all my account information is gone, restart the phone same thing.

I deleted my backup and doctored the phone same thing. This seems to have started on this last Sunday. Also submitted a trouble ticket on this on Sunday evening did not get a response so submitted another one tonight. Hope to get some type of a response by tomorrow.

webos version is 1.4 I am on Sprint

This issue has been already reported in another thread, please restrain from duplicating issues.

Sorry if it seemed to be a repost but the descriptions on the other posts did not in any way shape or form indicate it was the account information that disappeared (auto deleted on exit) and I have to re enter all the bloody account information EVERYTIME. The other thread said "Blank Screen" that is not a description after reading that thread. This seems different.

Now as to submitting 2 trouble tickets that was simple your own site says under the tickets: "SHAPE Services will process your request within 2 business days. The reply will be sent to you via e-mail you specified." It had been more than 2 days so I thought either the request was lost or ignored. I still have not received anything from either request not even a trouble ticket number.

I also did not appreciate the attitude of the reply to me I have been a long time user of IM+ from when I had a windows mobile phone. I do expect from any company good customer support I run a very successful business and I expect that from my employees that they will bend over backwards to help someone. I teach them the two rules of customer support 1. The customer is ALWAYS RIGHT. 2. If the Customer is wrong refer to Rule 1. I have fired employees for not paying attention to that. They also know that timely responses are important even if it is just a "we are working on the solution to the problem we will get back to you as soon as we have an answer" they than give updates if it is not something that can be fixed in a day or two as to the progress.

I am having the exact same problem and I'm the one who posted it. I posted it in the Palm Pre? thread and I don't see how your thread is a replication since the thread names are not remotely similar. Unless Shape expects every poster to read pages and pages of every thread to discern a problem.

I agree as to the tone of responses from customer support and "we are aware of the problem" appears to be the standard answer here - with no results.

I'll not buy a product again.

Still no response from tech support on this not even an acknowledgment that the tech support ticket was recieved very very bad customer support 6 days on the first trouble ticket and 3 days on the second.

HELLO SHAPE SERVICES WHAT ABOUT WHAT IT SAYS ON YOUR TICKET SUBMISSION?????? AS A REMINDER WHAT YOU SAY:

SHAPE Services will process your request within 2 business days. The reply will be sent to you via e-mail you specified.


DUE TO THE TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT ON THE WEBOS APP STORE I HAVE CHANGED MY REVIEW TO NEGATIVE AND HAVE DOCUMENTED THE 100% LACK OF CUSTOMER SUPPORT HERE. I WILL ALSO BE SUBMITING A COMPLAINT TO PALM AND HOPEFULLY YOUR PRODUCT WILL BE REMOVED. HECK YOU SHOULD REMOVE IT TILL YOU COME UP WITH A COMPATIBLE VERSION THAT WORKS WITH WEBOS 1.4. TO NOT DO SO IS VERY DISHONEST.

I was wondering the same thing when is it due out, get no response from tech support on a trouble ticket. They are still selling the incompatible version in the app store also. As paying customers we have the right to demand some type of time line. Heck I am sure most of us are willing to beta test versions to improve the product and at least have something that is working for us.

Agreed! "We are working on developing improvements" while selling an incompatible program and then refusing to issue refunds is ridiculous. PLUS I've looked in the other threads, and "we have forwarded to our development team" is clearly translatable to "we know, we have your money, we don't care."
