Data Connection Issues

Postby abc1973 » Tue Sep 15, 2009 3:14 pm

Hi, I have HTC Touch Pro. "Keep IM services connected when wireless connection is lost" is checked on my phone. However, when I'm traveling and constantly losing signal, my friends report that I am Constantly going Offline / Online / Offline / Online on Yahoo! and that it's quite annoying lol. Doesn't the above mentioned option supposedly eliminate that problem?

This situation requires more thorough investigation.

Please follow these steps:
1. In IM+ please go to Main\Settings\Other and enable "Create a log file" option.
2. Try to reproduce the situation.
3. Exit the application.
4. Find the <implus.log> file on your device in Application Data\IMPLus folder and send it to us in attachment.

We would also need to get your log file.

I have enabled logging and will post as soon as I can.

I've noticed the problem more often recently. I have hard reset the phone a couple times and even received an RMA replacement from VZW for possibly defective hardware.

The problem gets worse the more network options I have chosen, such as always reconnect, or keep services connected when I am disconnect/exit.
