If IM+ crashes

Yesterday (Feb 11, 20010) IM+ crashed hard. In fact it was unable to notify Shape Services as it locked up all the networking on the phone.

At the time I was on Edge with an average signal in an area I know works. IM+ was restoring my connection and crashed out of the program. After that I had to reboot the iPhone to get service back.

I don't know that this was an IM+ issue but I figure I will mention it.

(NOTE: my iphone is a new 3Gs running 3.1.3 and is NOT jailbroken.)

Could it be that you have long contact list in one of services you use (150+)?

most likely, I'm not gona count them though, as there are a ton. I'd be supprised if there is less than 200per account in each of my 4 accounts.

Please update to 3.6 version, this should help.

I reinstalled four times now but that didn't help at all :(

There doesn't seem to be any specific action that causes the crash. It keeps crashing, when I edit buddy details, when I go on-/offline, when I get a message and when I send a message. These are only some of the Situations I remember.

I sent you somewhat about 6 crash reports.

My buddylist is contains only ca. 20 contacts.

On my Ipad everything works just fine.

I hope you can fix the problem.

Current IM+ version is not compatible with OS 4.0.
New version 4.2 with OS 4.0 support is submitted to AppStore already
on June 18.
We are waiting for Apple approval.
Keep an eye on updates.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll keep watching for updates :)
